LATIN DANCING IN NYC – CLUB CACHE

This club is located at 35 East 13th Street in downtown NYC. Without a doubt, Club Cache is a popular spot for salsa & bachata dancing on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. With a spacious dance floor, live music, and top-notch DJs, this venue attracts a lively and diverse crowd of dancers. You can also take free salsa lessons before the party starts, making it a great place to learn new moves and meet fellow dancers.

BACHATA BRUCH NYC

If you’re looking for a more relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, check out the Bachata Brunch “Brunchchata”. It is located at Gonzalez y Gonzalez, 192 Mercer St, NYC.

Every Sunday, from 2 pm to 7 pm, you can enjoy delicious food and drinks while dancing to awesome bachata music. The event is $10.00, and make sure to get your tickets early as it is frequently sold out. Additionally, this is one of the only year-round day events to go Latin dancing in NYC.

JIMMY ANTON’S SALSA SOCIALS 

For those who prefer dancing on2 (also known as New York-style salsa), Jimmy Anton’s is the place to be on Sundays. This lively venue in Manhattan features a spacious dance floor, good music, and a friendly and welcoming crowd of dancers. You can also take lessons before the party starts, making it a great place to learn the basics of on2 salsa. The location of this weekly social is 617West 46th Street between 11th & 12th Avenue. 

CANDELA FRIDAY’s

With a mix of traditional and modern Salsa music, this weekly event attracts a fun and friendly crowd of dancers from all over the city. The event is normally $25.00 in advance or $30.00 at the door and you can also take Salsa lessons around 9pm before the party starts.

LA MEGA 97.9 FM’S SALSA STREET PARTY

Every summer, La Mega 97.9 FM, a popular Latin radio station, hosts a free salsa street party in Midtown Manhattan. With live music from some of the biggest names in salsa, including Willie Colon, Tito Nieves, and Eddie Palmieri, this event attracts thousands of dancers from all over the world. The party takes place on 8th Avenue, between 34th and 40th streets, and is a must-visit for any salsa fan. This is one of the most popular summer events for Latin dancing in NYC.

THE COPACABANA NYC

For a taste of old-school glamour and romance, head to the Copacabana on Saturday nights. This venue pays homage to the original Copacabana. The Copacabana has been a fixture in the city’s nightlife scene since the 1940s and continues to attract a diverse crowd of dancers. With live music, top-notch DJs, and a spacious dance floor, this is one of the best places to dance salsa, bachata, and more in NYC. The Copacabana NYC is currently located at 625 West 51st Street in Manhattan.

LATIN DANCING IN NYC – IGUANA NYC

Iguana NYC is another nice place to go Latin dancing in NYC. It is located at 240 West 54th Street, NYC. This Tex-Mex restaurant & nightclub features Salsa & Bachata dancing as well as other Latin dance music.  They have several popular after-work parties and also weekend night events. LATIN DANCING IN NYC – CUBAN SALSA

If you love Cuban Salsa then this is the place for you. Each month the Fuakata Cuban Salsa group holds socials and dance classes. The dates and the locations vary but you can see their latest events here!. 

This is a wonderful salsa group who are very welcoming to guest dancers from out of town. Currently, the majority of their Cuban salsa classes and Salsa events are held at Adelante Dance Studios located at 25 West 31st Street, NY, NY.
