Asucar - Salsa & Bachata Dance Club

Asucar Discoteca in Valencia is among the most popular places for Bachata and salsa dancing. It is open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights year-round.

From September until mid-June, the most popular night is Thursday night. This is the night with the best dancers and a great crowd as Fridays are normally off for many college students.

From mid-June until late August it is still a good place to dance but many of the local dancers will go to other events near the beach,

Admission varies between 7 -12 euros with a free drink included. The address is Calle del Beat Nicolau Factor, 12.

Dance classes are from 10:00pm until 11:00pm, meanwhile, most dancers show up around 12:00pm

Asucar features two large rooms for Bachata & Salsa dancing.  The current resident DJs are  DJ Miguelon as well as DJ Roberth.

The local dancers here are very friendly and welcoming to visiting dancers.

Bachata Valencia Tip: Stay downtown and take a car-sharing service such as Cabify or a taxi to and from this nightclub.

Kpital Beach - Avenida De Puerto - Salsa Bachata & Kizomba Fiestas

Year-round a popular place to dance is Kpital Beach on Avenida De Porto.

Every Tuesday night they have a great crowd of bachata and salsa dancers. The salsa dancing here is mostly Cuban and bachata is split between sensual and Dominicana style.

Classes are free and begin around 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the main social dance party starting at 9:00 p.m.  This is a free entrance event and is very popular with many of the college students and visiting tourists.

Thursday night is for kizomba dancers.

Friday night is Cuban salsa night whereas Tuesday night is more bachata. There is also a cover on Fridays.

The address is Avenida del Puerto 195.

Caribbeans Avenue - Avenida Del Franco - Salsa and Bachata - Free Workshop

Another popular social dancing party on Tuesday night is Caribbeans Ave. This is located on Avenida the Franco, an upscale area.

It is a bar that is popular with local dancers. The workshop or class normally starts around 8:00 p.m. and the party starts around 9pm.

During the year the party goes until approximately midnight however in the summertime you can dance as late as 3:00 a.m.

This is a nice place however the dance floor is small and due to the crowd of people, it can be very challenging to dance here.

You can check their schedule on Instagram @Caribbeans_avenue

Social dancing from 9-12 in the winter and 9-0300 in July & August.

Akuarella - Sunday Nights in Summertime - Baile Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba & Salsacubana

Akuarella Nightclub view at dusk with palm trees- Valencia, Spain

Without a doubt the best place to dance on Sunday nights in the summertime is Akuarella.

Akuarella is a massive nightclub with multiple rooms, each with a different music style. The club opens every Sunday at approximately 6:00 p.m. with salsa, bachata, kizomba, and Cuban salsa classes.

At 9:00 p.m. the social dancing begins and the line to get in stretches around the block. The main bachata and salsa floor is located upstairs in the largest room of the club.

Downstairs on the left-hand side, you will have the kizomba room, and on the other side is the Cuban Salsa room. Additionally, outside on the patio area, you will have more people dancing bachata.

This is a highlight of the week for local dancers and I recommend it to all visiting dancers during the summer months.

To know exactly when and what classes are going on at Akuarella, join the Supersaleros promoter’s Facebook page and WhatsApp group.

Moreover, make sure to get added to the supersalseros discount entry list.

Social Dancing goes from 9-12pm. The address is la Calle Eugenia Viñes 152, Playa de la Malvarrosa, Valencia.

Malabar @ Venta a Veillas - Cuban Salsa & Bachata Dancers -Wednesday's & Sunday's In Summer

Bachata Spain - Dancing on the terrace at Mala Bar in Valencia, Spain

My second favorite place on a Sunday night for salsa and bachata dancing is Malabar at Venta y Vella building in the port area.

On Sunday nights at approximately 6:00 p.m., classes start for salsa & bachata. This building is a beautiful massive white structure overlooking the water with multiple floors.

It is an outdoor covered event with a great atmosphere, and many local people come to this event.

It is located on the second floor in the rear of the building. Moreover, if you come before 8:00 p.m. you will get in for free as long as you have pre-registered. They are also open on Wednesday nights.

Social dancing goes from 8pm-01am.

Bachata Valencia tip: this is one of the earlier dance parties in Valencia as most other places don’t open until 11pm.

Address:

Planta 1, Edificio Veles e Vents, La Marina de, 46024 Valencia.

Bachatella -  Thurday Nights in Summer with Pool Party For Bachatalovers!

Social dancing from 9 pm -11 pm. Here is a local Facebook group, which publishes information on this event.

Baile Con Ben

Another local event held frequently during the week is called Baile Con Ben. This is run by a long-time dance teacher named Ben Foss Vendrell.

He holds this event at locations normally near the beach in Malvarosa and Palau de la Musica. It is a popular event for older dancers and those who want to dance earlier in the evening.

Frequent nights include Sunday nights and Tuesdays this is a free event

Social dancing is normally from 8 pm to 10:30 pm.

Lastly, if you’re planning on taking advanced salsa, Bachata, or Kizomba Classes in August, forget it.  Most dance schools are closed in August and reopen in September.
