Jonathan Daly is a Professional Bachata Dance Instructor and Bachata Embassy Ambassador for Ireland.
He started dancing in 2014 when he joined the Hollywood Dance Academy in Ireland. He is a trained professional dance instructor in multiple dance styles to include Salsa, Bachata, Ballroom, Swing, and Modern Jive.
Since starting his dance journey, he has trained with many top dance professionals. Jonathan studied with Fernando Sosa completing his beginner, intermediate, and advanced level courses under the World Masters Program.
He has also studied with Daniel & Desiree completing their beginner, intermediate, and advanced level courses under the World Masters Program.
Subsequently, he was awarded multiple certifications in both Bachata and Salsa footwork & body movements.
Jonathan currently teaches Bachata, Salsa, and Modern Jive dance classes alongside Caroline Finlay, the founder, and creator of the Hollywood Dance Academy.
The Hollywood Dance Academy was founded in 2014, operating as Hollywood Jive. The Academy is named after its geographical location in Hollywood, Blessington County Wicklow.
Due to the success and growth of the dance academy, they decided to open a second dance school in Kildare in 2014.
Additionally, in 2019 they opened their services to the Dublin area in order to meet local demand. Currently, they hold dance classes in Modern Jive, Salsa, Bachata & Kizomba.
Aside from teaching dance he also promotes and organizes events on behalf of the Academy.
Jonathan’s vision for the Academy is to eventually bring it towards the national and world-renowned Academy of excellence. He also hopes to bring a vibrant energy to the dancing community in Ireland and revive dancing after the pandemic.

Jonathan is currently working on setting up the following World Masters Festivals to be held in Ireland during 2022 and 2023.

The Irish World Masters Kizomba Festival
Irish World Masters Jive Festival
All the events are organized by the Hollywood Dance Academy and sanctioned by the Irish government. Winners of these Dance Festivals will receive an Irish Master’s title and prize money.
